As a freelance photographer based in Puerto Rico, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with both emerging and well-known local artists, capturing moments that tell powerful stories.
From vibrant festivals and cultural conventions to press interviews and exclusive behind-the-scenes moments, my lens has taken me deep into the heart of the island’s creative pulse.
Here are some of the projects I’ve had the privilege of working on recently.
REMEDIO PR
Capturing the dynamic energy of Remedio was a truly special experience. This rock-pop-alternative band, formed in 2020 by brothers Giovanni and Kevin Curbelo, blends various genres including rock, pop, indie, reggae, and more. Their debut album Suficiente para dos was released in 2021, featuring hit songs like "Agua Ardiente." As I took photos at their performance, I was reminded of their incredible passion and the journey they’ve taken—from local festivals to media tours.

PUYA
Puya is a groundbreaking progressive metal band from Puerto Rico. Capturing Puya live on stage at The RAMAs Fest in Rincón, Puerto Rico was an electrifying experience. Their raw energy, fierce stage presence, and signature fusion of metal with Latin rhythms lit up the crowd. As I stood on stage taking photos, every beat and roar felt larger than life. It was a powerful moment with a band that continues to break barriers. Truly unforgettable.
VIVANATIVA
Vivanativa stands as a cornerstone of Puerto Rican Rock & Roll—offering a rich, diverse, and entirely original repertoire. Known for their exceptional production quality, powerful wall-of-sound vocals, and solid melodic craftsmanship, Vivanativa has carved out a legacy unlike any other.
With a sound that moves seamlessly from funk to punk, and always with a soulful bluesy edge, this band has reigned supreme in Puerto Rico’s rock scene for over 25 years—and they’re still going strong.
I’m honored to be here celebrating their 25th anniversary, a milestone that speaks to their passion, perseverance, and unmatched talent. We’re not just witnessing a concert—we’re part of a historic moment in Puerto Rican music.
DESDE LA LOMA - NINO SEGARRA
Sesiones Desde La Loma has become one of the most influential Latin music programs in recent years, celebrated for its originality and top-tier production. Created in 2019 by singer Norberto Vélez and producer Gabriel Ramos, what began as a casual project has grown into a true cultural phenomenon. Its unique format—blending intimate interviews with live musical performances—has deeply resonated with audiences across the globe.
Today, I’m honored to be part of this powerful platform during a very special session featuring the legendary Nino Segarra. This moment is not just a celebration of his incredible musical legacy, but also a testament to the richness and diversity of Latin music that Sesiones Desde La Loma continues to champion.
VICTOR MANUELLE
It’s an honor to be here today at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, standing alongside one of the greatest salsa artists of our time: Víctor Manuelle. I’ve had the privilege of working on several high-level events and platforms, but this experience is truly something special. Being part of this moment, surrounded by so much history, talent, and love for our music, is an incredible source of pride. Thank you to everyone who makes it possible for us to celebrate the greatness of our artists.
